Missionary Associates Needed as Staff, Interns &

Volunteers for Our Mission Team

Qualifications: Experience or desire to learn multi-cultural

children/youth ministry; ability to work effectively as a team

in urban environment; self-motivated; goal oriented; some

understanding of Eastern religions; adaptability to culturally-

divers ministry (up to 230 language groups);

bilingual helpful, but not required.

Salary: Must be able to raise support through tax-deductible

donations or work part-time job to cover personal expenses as

a missionary associate or missionary-in-training.

 Commitment: 1–3 years internship OR 2+ hours weekly



Urban Missionary Associates: Assist inner-city and ethnic

churches to develop outreach; train and equip congregations for

effective ministry to children and youth; provide hands-on

preparation for Sidewalk Sunday School, Bible clubs, school rallies,

after-school mentoring and special events; utilize skills and talents

to fill the following positions on ministry team:


1) Office Coordinator: Supervise interns in clerical, computer,

bookkeeping; administration and business communications;

leadership skills & administrative experience

2) Team Leaders: Supervise interns at outreach events; assist with

training interns for children & youth ministry; willing to travel with ministry team

3) Interns: Full-time basis (or part-time); learn all facets of

children and youth outreach; assist at weekly children’s outreach

with Bible lesson, memory verse, games, puppetry, etc.; utilize your

talents in drama, music and/or dance as evangelistic tools to share

Gospel with students in school rallies, Bible clubs, after-school

mentoring and outreach events; willing to trave with ministry team


4) Summer Mission Team:  Serve for 1 - 9 weeks on our Kids Quest

Missions Team to assist churches with an action-packed, evangelistic

children's crusade using drama, dance, music, Christian illusion and 

clowning to share the Gospel in a 3-day outreach (plus 2-day training).


5) Volunteers: Serve for 2-8 hours a week on local ministry teams

to assist local churches with weekly children’s outreach or mentoring

students by developing relationships as a positive role-model.
